Thigh Lipo

Thigh liposuction can be performed on the inner thighs, outer thighs or both thighs. Your body may have a predisposition to store fat in a certain area – this results in “riding pants” on the outer thighs or “love handles” on the inner thighs in some women.

Liposuction is an excellent option in these cases because it can permanently remove the fat cells in that area, which will change the overall shape of your body, regardless of whether you lose or gain weight later.

At Chic Clinic, we pay careful attention to the esthetics of the entire body. Liposuction targets and shapes specific areas of the body. Liposuction can create a thigh gap, eliminate love handles, and get rid of riding pants, but it cannot reduce fat all over the body and is not a substitute for weight loss. If your goal is to make your thighs smaller weight loss may produce results you are more satisfied with.

After liposuction, it usually takes 4 weeks for patients to return to exercise. While it is true that you should not do strenuous exercise (running, jumping) during recovery from thigh liposuction, you must remain active during recovery. Patients should even try to start walking immediately after the procedure.

During liposuction on the thighs, blood circulation is especially important. Walking improves circulation, which speeds up the healing process and prevents blood clots. If you maintain a sedentary lifestyle or have a desk job, keep this in mind, as you will need to find ways to incorporate short walks during recovery. Painkillers are available in case you experience pain or discomfort, and every patient receives an optional prescription for painkillers after the procedure.
